Wow! Sorry I’ve been so MIA you guys!! If you’ve been following along on Insta, then you know I’ve been traveling non-stop for the last MONTH! When DeAndre used to play for the Patriots, I was always on the go between Boston (to visit D), LA (for fun), SF (because it’s home and I had a job that I needed to be at lol) and Florida (for that job since my reps were there).
But it’s been about two years since those days and my traveling has pretty much only consisted of quick trips to LA since then. So this month was pretty CRAZY to say the least! I went to Los Angeles the first week of May, to speak on the panel at Fashion Digital LA. Then came back for a few short days, then flew to MADRID, SPAIN for a campaign with American Tourister x Cristiano Ronaldo (which should be up on Beyond Casual B in the coming days!).
Then I came home for ONE DAY, to then fly to LA with D. Can you say jet lag much?! I was falling asleep by like 7:30pm and waking up at like 3am lol thanks to the 9 hour time difference in Spain haha!
But then we came home for three days, and then turned right back around to head back to the airport the following day to head to Florida! Which brings me to this post about our stay at the Encore Resort at Reunion!
So as you can see, I’ve been going NON-STOP and just honestly haven’t had the time to post all my adventures on here yet 😫. But I had an AMAZING month to say the least and now that I’m finally home, I thought I’d start with the most recent trip since it’s fresh in our minds!… Or at least fresh in mine 😉
I definitely woke up this morning thinking I was still in Florida! haha! Sadly though, I opened the windows to grey skies here in Cali 🙁
Soooooo… Let’s rewind to our stay in Florida!!! 🍹☀️🌊
The Encore Resort At Reunion is located just five short minutes from Walt Disney World, in Orlando Florida and is a vacation rental home community! They have tons of different houses you can choose from, ranging from 4-13 bedroom houses, all of which have their OWN pool!… Yes! You heard that right!
In addition to the water park you saw above, each house has a private pool as well! And some houses even have a hot tub! So when I say we we’re literally swimming from morning til night, we we’re LITERALLY in the pools practically the entire trip! But I wasn’t complaining!! I’ve been needing a good tan considering all the cold and gloomy weather we’ve been having here in Cali lately.
Is it still cold where you guys are??
I’m hoping it starts to heat up around here, because I’m used to the warm Florida weather now! 😉
Encore Resort At Reunion gave us an eight bedroom house, with seven bathrooms and it was an absolute dream! It was more than enough space for myself, DeAndre, his little brother, my little sister, my niece and my momma, so we had fun switching rooms over our four night stay.
There was even two bedrooms (pictured above), with a batman theme and a star theme! So you know the kids LOVED it! And right next to the kids rooms, there was another living room with a tv and foosball table. Every room also had their own tv’s, so everyone could watch what they wanted. And in D’s case, he could play his PS4 in peace! 😂
Encore Resort At Reunion also has a VIP Chef Experience, where they come to your house and cook for you. It also includes a server, so you can truly relax and dine in the comfort of your own home! We were able to experience that and it was so cool! They made us steak and chicken fajitas, with chips and fresh gauc 😛 And for dessert they made THE BEST cheesecake I’ve ever had! I kid you not! The kids got a brownie dessert that was just as good! …
I may or may not have snuck a few bites from my niece 😉
But in addition to the house being AMAZING, there were also so many fun activities and amenities the resort had to offer. As mentioned, they had a water park, that had kids slides and jungle gyms, a regular pool, a snack bar, 4 huge water slides for adults and an arcade! They also had cabana’s that you can rent out for the day, that includes a tv, couches, food service, waters, sunscreen, towels and beach chairs!
But there are beach chairs and umbrellas all throughout the water park too, so don’t feel like you need a cabana to have a place to take a break from the water and sunshine!
When we visited, they just so happened to have a live dj, games and more, since it was Memorial Day Weekend. But there’s always something exciting going on, so be sure to check out the calendar they give you upon check-in!
On top of the fun water park, Encore Resort At Reunion also had volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, a bar, a restaurant, a coffee bar, a fitness center and complimentary shuttles to the theme parks!
So as you can see, we had a blast at the Encore Resort at Reunion!! We’re already talking about going back and we just left! haha! It was definitely one for the books!!
But in the meantime, I’ll be posting a “Best of Orlando” guide in the next couple of days, so if you’re planning a trip to Orlando, or looking for your next vaca, stay tuned! And to find out how I got pool-ready, check out this post!
