Southern California

SoCal will always be one of my favorite destinations, so when I finally had a reason to go, I couldn’t wait to pack and get on the road. My boyfriend had a NFLPA game to play in at StubHub Stadium and I couldn’t miss it. Have you ever driven 7 hours in the middle of the night? If you haven’t, DON’T. I had my best friend tag along with me and of course she fell asleep so it was just me riding solo all the way to SoCal, from the Bay Area. Of course there happened to be major construction the night we left too, I mean what is SoCal without the traffic? So we finally arrived in Huntington Beach around 3am, which meant bed time ASAP.

Before I knew it, it was 8am and time to get up and get ready for the game. Exhausted as I was it was still exciting. I hadn’t seen him in two weeks and this was an important day for him. The Stub Hub Stadium was beautiful, lined with palm trees and it was a good 80 degrees. No complaints on my end.

What’s better than a day with your best friend and boyfriend? There is nothing, in my mind. After a good conversation at dinner, it was almost time to head in again. Not before a walk by the water though! If I tell you anything about myself, it’s that I LOVE taking walks! The water was so relaxing and Long Beach was beautiful at night.

The following day, I thought it would be a good idea to see the water from a different light. During the day. Boats were all along the shore, swaying in the water. My favorite boat was the Titanic replica though. That boat was awesome! Me and my best friend also stopped by the pier in Huntington Beach and took a stroll on our bikes along the beach. This was the perfect weekend. SoCal is always a good idea.

Yours Truly,

B
