Museum Of Ice Cream, SF Edition!!

So if you have an Instagram account then I assume you’ve seen pictures of the Museum of Ice Cream before! Whether it was in New York, Los Angeles or the new location in SF, it’s a place you won’t forget!

I first heard about it when it opened in LA and it was sold out before I could even grab tickets so I was just living vicariously through everyone’s pictures… so sad!! 🙁

Then one day (months later), one of my SF blogger friends posted an IG story saying how she waited all morning to purchase her tickets for the new opening here in SF!!! .. I didn’t see her story until about 2 hours later, so by the time I went to their site, they were of course SOLD OUT ALREADY! 🙁 I was DEVASTATED! I’m not even joking y’all!

If you follow me on Instagam, you know I LOVE everything colorful, especially pink, so this was my Instagram feed’s dream so I was really sad when I realized I would just have to experience it through social media yet again..

Welllllll… a few weeks later, a Public Relations angel who was covering the museums event reached out to me in regards to their VIP Opening Night Party (God bless her sweet heart) to extended an invite!.. I think that was the fastest I’ve ever responded to an email! haha!

Well fast forward to the VIP Party last Friday (the 15th) and I was still just as excited as the day I got invited!

D agreed to come with me (he usually can’t go to events because of his football schedule, but this time it worked out) so I was even more excited. Date night at the Museum of Ice Cream?! What could be better??

Not only that, all my SF Blogger friends were going and bringing their boyfriends too, so it was a recipe for success!

So me and D parked right across from Westfield mall and made our way over to the museum! I kept screaming how excited I was to him… lol

I don’t know how he puts up with me sometimes haha .. It’s the little things in life that make me happy I tell ya! lol

So anyways, before I knew it, we were checking in at the front door, getting ready to experience this amazing exhibit I was DYING to see!

While I don’t want to spill all their surprises in case you’re going, let’s just say it did NOT DISAPPOINT!! I was literally a little kid in a candy story!… or should I say, Ice Cream Museum 😉

There were sweets around every corner! Just when I thought I had eaten my last ice cream cone, there was another waiting for me in a next room! But there wasn’t only ice cream! They had cotton candy, candy, yummy drinks… the list goes on! It was a sweet tooth lovers dream!

So I’ve shared a sneak peek of some of their amazing rooms below, along with the outfit I chose for the night! As for my favorite room, I really couldn’t pick just one! But off the top of my head, I really loved the pop rocks room (pictured below with D) and the sprinkle pool room! But allllllll of them are ONE-OF-A-KIND!

This whole exhibit was truly a dream! And if you’ve gone, or plan to go, I’d love to hear about your experience too!

I have seen this museum talked about everywhere and I must admit, being an ice cream connoisseur, I am curious! I probably should never go there on an empty stomach, as I would be trying out everything haha.
