Hi guys!! Happy Tuesday!! It’s yet another rainy day here in NorCal, but the sun is supposed to make a comeback on Thursday, so I’m happy about that! Like most, whenever its cloudy and cold outside, all I want to do is stay in bed all day. But there’s so much to be done, so I’m trying to not let the weather get me down! What do you guys do on rainy days?

Living in California, there aren’t too many days like this (especially this year), so I’m feeling a little thrown off by the weather this week. I’d love to find a good book to dive into, but I have a really hard time getting into most. Do you guys have any good reads that you suggest?

But let’s get to why you’re all here! I’ve listened to your feedback and I’m going to try to do more life updates for you guys, here on the Beyond Casual B! And if you aren’t already following along on my Instagram, stop by and say hello, because I tend to post a lot on my stories that you normally wouldn’t see on my feed. It’s more of a realtime view of my day-to-day life. And you’ll actually get to see DeAndre too! haha! Especially now since it’s the offseason. Which actually leads me to..

My first life update.

After talking with DeAndre last night, I think we’ve decided to actually do a YouTube channel surrounding our lives. So many of our family members have told us to do one, but as you guys know, D loves his privacy. And he only recently started making another appearance on my Instagram stories because the season is over, which means he has a little extra time to hang out with me 😉 and in turn results in him being in my stories! haha!

But as you guys know from my New Years resolution blog post, I already made the promise to myself to start my YouTube channel and the original plan was for me to do it about my day-to-day life. And I would just have D in the background for most of it since he didn’t want to have to talk to the camera etc.

But now, I think were going to have some videos where you’d be following me around on blogging trips, or day-to-day activities etc, then you’ll see videos with both of us on our vacations, at family functions etc and thennnnn you’d be following D around throughout his day-to-day activities. We thought it would be a cool way for you to see both of our days and how they mesh together!

And I’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts on this!! Do you like the idea of the YouTube channel being about me AND D? Instead of it just being about my life? It would be a sneak peek into a fashion bloggers’ and NFL players’ life, on and off the field!

I’m excited to hear your feedback and would love to incorporate any questions you guys have for us in the Q&A video that will probably roll out in the next two months!

Now, nextttt update!

You guys are going to be seeing a lot more travel content coming up over the next few months! With it being offseason, and me being self-employed now, travel is finally possible! So get ready for some warm vacations!! And for those of you who have been rockin’ with me since the beginning, y’all know Beyond Casual B started out as pretty much a travel blog before expanding into beauty and fashion etc. Me and D were going to Indy and Chicago and LA and Baltimore and Mexico etc and I’ve really missed creating beautiful travel content, so I’m SO excited to bring some back!!

And finally,

I’m still adjusting to living life in San Jose and being a full-time blogger! It’s just so crazy to me sometimes! I always wanted to go full-time with my blog but I just didn’t know how possible it was. But now that I’m doing it, I can’t imagine ever having a set schedule again, or a boss breathing down my neck! It’s truly a blessing and it’s all because of you guys!! Really!! I couldn’t thank all of you enough for your love and continuous support!! And I’m ALL about helping those who want to start a blog too!!! So if you EVER have any questions at all, PLEASE, PLEASE send them my way!!! Everyone is unique and everyone has different content, so there is no competition! I’d be happy to help!

I just recently helped my two of my friends (whose husbands are teammates with DeAndre) start their own blogs in fact!! I’m so excited to see theirs grow and I can’t wait to share them with you guys when they launch because I know they are going to be great!

So definitely don’t hesitate to ask!!

And as for living in San Jose, we lived in the East Bay for two years so I had all my favorite spots to go to.. My nail shop, my hair dresser, my restaurants etc and now I’m finally starting to find places I like, down here in the South Bay! But if you have any cool, fun recs, send those my way too!!

If you didn’t see my Instagram stories the other day at the Great Mall, you missed out on a super cool service I discovered!!

But don’t worry, I’m about to put you guys up on game right now!! 😉

I know I’m not the only one who DREADS going to the gas station! ESPECIALLY when it’s raining outside, like right now! Am I right?! It’s just such a chore to me and I always try to push my tank to the limit, to avoid going to the gas station as long as possible!… It’s bad, I know! haha! But the struggle is SO real!!

Soooo.. I walked into the Great Mall and there was a kiosk that said “win free gas for a year”… Uh.. free gas for a year?! They had my attention REAL QUICK 😉

I came to find out that this kiosk has a service that fills your tank for you while you shop!! Seriously you guys, that’s everything! All you do is download their app, which can be found in the app store and drop a pin to where you are, make sure your tank is open and then they fill it!

Booster is the name of the company and they are awesome!!! They don’t charge any extra fees for the delivery and they often beat the other gas prices in the area.

And as for the free gas for a year giveaway, you’ll be prompted to enter when you order gas through the app! But seriously you guys, how cool is this??

I went outside to see the process and take some photos for you guys and they were done in like five minutes and were so nice! You obviously don’t have to go outside when you do it, I just wanted to see it for myself. You literally just park and they pump, while you shop!

They are also looking to expand to more locations too, so if you aren’t local in the Bay Area, don’t worry!! They have delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth areas and will hopefully reach other places soon!

 

 

Just like that, I had a full tank of gas!! Whoop whoop!! Where should I head to next? The skies the limit with a full tank 😉
