What To Pack For Spain! + GIVEAWAY!

Hellooo hello!! In case you guys missed my latest Instagram post, I just announced that I will be heading to Spain this week with American Tourister to meet the Global Ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo!!!! Like what?!! I’m SOOO excited!! Spain is at the TOP of my bucket list and I know this will be a once in a lifetime experience!

I have an itinerary packed with amazing activities, so be sure to stay tuned to my Instagram stories to see what I’m up to! You definitely won’t want to miss it! There will be everything from exclusive meet and greet footage, to beautiful architecture, mouth-watering food and desserts (duh 😜) and much, much, more!!!

But with traveling abroad, there are obviously preparations to be made! Like what to pack for Spain!!! I’ve only been out of the country twice and once was to Cancun, with D, where we stayed on a resort.. So I didn’t have to organize much. The other time I traveled out of the U.S. was when I went to South Korea with my hip hop crew to dance in the Fire Festival! And that time I was 16, and there were chaperones with us the entire time and my mom had gotten everything I needed ready before my trip. Sooooo… this time is obviously a little different!

Not only will I be traveling for 14 hours (hellllla long), I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a littttleeee scared to fly… Andddd I’m gonna be going to a place I’ve never been before! So I don’t fully know what to expect or what to pack for Spain! But best believe I’ve been spending the last couple weeks doing some major research on what I’ll need, do’s and dont’s etc!

Does anyone else hate flying without their significant other?!!? Or even their mom?!?! LOL!! I’m 25 and I still HATE flying alone! If I can’t have DeAndre by my side, then I definitely want my mom LOL! #noshame!

We’re actually all taking a family trip to Orlando, Florida in two weeks, but D has to leave later in the day because they have practice, so I made SURE I was on the flight with my momma, sister and niece instead haha! That means I gave up my 10 minute drive to the nearest airport, for an hour drive to the San Francisco Intl Airport and a fee to park my dang car just to fly with her! LOL!

I don’t know WHAT it is, but I need one of them. They are THE two most important people to me and I just feel better if they are next to me on flights. But if you guys remember, I also wrote a blog post about 5 Ways To Stay Calm During A Flight a few months ago, so if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to read this. It definitely helps me and you can check it out here! I’ll be reading it over and OVER again over the next couple days 😂.

But anyway, let’s get into what I’ll be packing for Spain now that you all know I’m a big scaredy cat! HAHA!

So after much research, I’ve rounded up a few items I’m definitely bringing with me to Spain! Some of which I already have and others that I’ve just gone out and purchased. All of these items are actually great for any trips abroad, so if you’re planning any trips in the future, hopefully this helps!!

And don’t forget to get an international plan if you plan on using your phone! Because that can ADD UP!! I just got the international Day Pass from AT&T. It gives you your exact plan for $10/day. So I’ll have unlimited talk/text and internet for $50 total since I’ll be there for 5 days!

Don’t forget a map app that doesn’t require data too though, just in case you don’t have internet somewhere! As well as a translator app! That will definitely come in handy when I’m searching for the nearest churro stand 😉

And since you’re all probably wondering what I’m gonna be wearing in Spain, here are also some new clothing/shoes/accessories I’ve picked up for the trip too!

But lastly, let’s get to the giveaway!!! One of you can win your own pair of these beautiful American Tourister suitcases!!! 😱🎉 All you have to do is go to this Instagram photo and comment with an idea of what gift I should bring Cristiano Ronaldo that represents the U.S.! Then make sure you’re following me (@beyondcasualb) and @amtourister. And that’s it! I will announce the winner tomorrow morning!!!

GOODLUCK!!! 😘

Oh! and if you have any other items you think I might need that I didn’t mention above, comment below!!! I’m ALL ears!! And of course, any recs for Madrid would be GREATLY appreciated too!! xoxo
