Hello, hello my friends!! 😃 Wow has it been a crazy past couple of weeks!!
As always, if you’re following along on my Instagram, specifically my IG stories, then you might have seen I went to NYC the past three weekends! The first weekend DeAndre had his game in Tennessee, the following weekend I went for a photo shoot and just this past Thursday I went for a few meetings and events.
Andddd if you we’re following along on the first visit to New York, you might also remember seeing my story about walking 24,597 steps!!! I recently got the Fitbit Versa which is how I was able to track those steps and I’ve been obsessed ever since!
For those of you who don’t know, the Fitbit Versa is a modern, intuitive smartwatch at an approachable price. It has the lightest metal smartwatch in the U.S. market, offers a comfortable design and a new dashboard that simplifies how you access your health and fitness data. And the Versa is now available in a ruby band, a Kohl’s exclusive color with a rose gold!
But you can also change the bands to go with different looks too!
I loved using it in NYC especially, because I could have my phone in my bag, but still see my incoming text messages and calls while I was walking!
AND…
I ended up walking all the way from Central Park, down to the 9/11 Memorial!
I thought for sure I’d end up getting a taxi, but I just kept seeing a bunch of cool places and murals as I walked, so before I knew it I was already almost to the memorial! And since I was wearing my new Fitbit Versa, it showed me all the steps I was walking, which was pretty cool!
That was hands down the longest I’d walked since getting my Versa, but now it’s pushed me to try to beat that record!
That’s the thing I like the most about my Fitbit Versa I think… It records everything, each day and makes me want to be better and better!!! It’s like a competition with myself! haha! Does anyone else do this? LOL! I hope I’m not the only one!!! 😂
I know for a fact my mom and D compete with themselves each and everyday to achieve their goals, so I can definitely see how something like this might help them track their stats!
I mean, whenever my mom, sisters and nieces are together, we ALWAYS go on walks! Whether it’s around the lake, up a beautiful mountain in good ol’ Sonoma County, walking the dog, or exploring somewhere new, we love to get outdoors, get our body’s moving and of course try to challenge each other! And even when it’s rainy during the winter, we AT LEAST make our way to the gym for some cardio and weights, so I can see the Versa being so helpful to everyone in my family!
But there’s also another new Fitbit coming out too!
The Fitbit Charge 3!
It helps you get a deeper understanding of your body, your health and your progress with Fitbit Charge 3. This swim proof advanced fitness tracker does more than count steps—it tracks 24/7 heart rate, calorie burn, 15+ exercises, goal progress, sleep and more. Every day, you’ll find valuable insights about your health that will empower you to take action, improve yourself and reach your goals.
And if you’re wondering about pricing, the new Fitbit Charge 3 is $149.99 and the new Fitbit Versa Ruby (Kohl’s Exclusive Color) is $199.99!! How’s that for an approachable price?!
But not only that!!
You’ll have multiple days to earn Kohl’s Cash on your purchase of either the Fitbit Versa, or the new Fitbit Charge 3!.. Or both!!! 😉
Eligible dates include:
10/11 – 10/17; Redeemable as soon as 10/18 – 10/28!

&&&&

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m seriously considering getting one for each of my family members! I mean, the Fitbit Ace would be great for my little sister, as it’s for children 8 years old and up! And I can see my mom, older sister and I, all wearing the Fitbit Versa! And D, he’d probably like the Fitbit Charge 3!!
Especially with the holidays coming up and being that my family is so active, I think they would be a great gift!
I know it’s only October, but I like to plan ahead!! 😉 Have you guys started your holiday shopping yet?!
Also, do you guys own a Fitbit?! 🤔 I would LOVE to hear about your experience and which one is YOUR favorite! And if you guys have any other form of exercise that you just CANNOT live without, PLEASE share it with me!!! I’m always looking to try something new!!

I’d like to get something like this but unsure whether it’s better than an Apple Watch.
I love how these devices encourage you to be better!
I’ve been wanting one, maybe for Christmas someone will get it for me lol
Love my Fit Bit! It’s one thing to know that you have walked a lot, but providing a means of measure is truly a motivator. Thank you for sharing this!
Yes to all of this! I love my FitBit!
I prefer a Garmin over Fitbit, but you still make a great point that people should have a fitness tracker.
I never saw the need or the purpose of a fitbit, but after reading your post, it seems like a great investment. Also a great motivation to stay active. Great post and pictures!!
That is a really good deal. My MIL just broke her fitbit and is in the market for a new one. I have a fitbit and my husband had one two, I think he had the charge 3 (the big square watch one) but he dropped it face down and cracked the screen. He is thinking about getting the Garmin this time instead of the fitbit. But I haven’t really had any problems and I love that the app now has the period tracker. So nice, everything is in one place.
I know lots of people that love theirs. Maybe one day I’ll get one!

I have been thinking about upgrading for awhile. I love my fitbit but really am considering picking up one of the newer styles. Thanks for sharing!
I had a fitbit once. I loved it but it broke and I can’t afford a new one plus the band made my skin itch. What I loved was that it motivated me. They just need to make them cheaper and the bands more versatile.
I had no idea there were so many Fitbits available. I tend to use my phone’s fitness tracker, but I’m never sure it’s accurate, and I don’t always carry my phone with me on walks or while I’m working out. A fitbit would be more handy tool to have.
I love my Fitbit. I use my Charge 2 every day of my life!
I love my FitBit! I have the Charge 2 which I think looks a bit less nice than yours, but it still gets the job done!
I love how FitBit helps keep us mindful of how much we are moving! I spend a LOT of time sitting at a desk, which is SO BAD for your health!
I don’t have a Fitbit but I really want one! I use the step tracker on my iPhone but I don’t know how accurate it really is.
I used to have the Surge and the original one! Now I just use my Apple Watch with the Fitbit app. It works! My roommate is wanting to get the same one you have, though, so I’ve been trying to figure out which one is more practical.
So much yes! I love my FitBit and those sure are some great deals you shared 🙂
I love the fitbit, I average 20K steps each day because it reminds me to do good every day. Love your photos btw, pretty!
There are other smartwatches but the Fitbit Versa seems the one that fitness enthusiasts should have. I do a lot of walking at lunch time and after work so the Ftbit would serve me right.
I just switched my Fitbit Blaze for a Versa and I love it! I love all of the stats and trying to beat my steps from the day before!
I don’t have a fitbit, but these are all such great reasons to get one! You’ve definitely got me wanting one!
I love my Fitbit and have been wanting to upgrade mine for a while, the new ones look great!
I don’t have a fitbit but my mom and sister do, & they love theirs!
I have thought about getting one for so long and you have TOTALLY convinced me. Thanks for breaking down all of the benefits. Such cute photos!
Love my Fitbit and find it so useful in my quest to lose weight and lead a healthy lifestyle
I never really understood what the big deal was. Now I totally do! Thanks for a great post!
I LOVE the competitive aspect of Fitbit, it’s something Apple has never been able to replicate with the Apple Watch. Fitbit was the first wearable I had, they make amazing products!
OMG! 24,500 steps!! That’s incredible. I have an older Fitbit Blaze and seriously considering getting an upgrade soon. Will use the Kohl’s cash incentive if I end up buying one.
Yea I can totally see why you love this watch it’s great way to keep you on track and record your physical activity! those who haven’t tried it wouldn’t really understand till they start using it! Go for it!
