Happy Wednesday my friends!! So if you follow along on my Instagram, it’s obviously NO secret I love desserts!!! I’m always posting some new treat I’m trying out! haha! And cookies… well, those are my favorite treat!! So I thought what better time than the holidays to host my own cookie exchange party!!! I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this sooner!!
And the cookies of choice for this delicious party?!
Cheryl’s Cookies of course!!! They’ve been my favorite for as long as I can remember! And Cheryl’s Cookies, the makers of gourmet cookies and baked goods, recently launched a collection of NEW fall and holiday products-all encompassing delectable seasonal flavors! But beyond these new fall and holiday flavors, Cheryl’s Cookies ALSO launched a brand-new Chocolate Chip Cookie in honor of it’s 38th anniversary!! The new cookie blends three different types of chocolates – Belgian wafers, semi-sweet morsels and milk chocolate chips- into a butter-rich batter thats topped with sea salt and sweetened with honey!!
And trust me when I say, they are SOOO good!!! But other than the Chocolate Chip Cookies, I also got the Marshmallow Frosted S’more Cookies, Brondie Brookies and Ginger Shortbread Cookies for the party!
So now that we have our cookies of choice picked out, let’s get into the other steps of how to host a delicious cookie exchange party!! And I’ll just start by saying, it’s one of the easiest party setup’s I’ve ever done!
So the next thing you want to do is grab some fun milk bottles or some festive mugs so your guests can dunk their cookies in milk! And I also picked up some of the cute festive straws to add a little something extra!
From there, you want to pick up some holiday plates and napkins , and some cookie platters! And obviously as much holiday decor as you see fit!!
And what’s a party without music?! Make sure you have some good holiday music playing for your guests! Maybe some Mariah Carey or John Legend, with some Christmas classics! It creates for a good holiday mix! And you can even have some games ready where your guests can win gifts!!
Lastly, what’s a party without goodie bags?! Never leave your guests empty handed! Not only can they take some cookies home, but gift them some other things as well! Maybe a good holiday scented candle? A holiday card? A gift card? A holiday lip kit? The list goes on! But seriously though, everyone enjoys a surprise gift! So don’t let that be a missed opportunity! lol!
*You can also have your guests bring their cookie of choice too! So you have TONS of different options!
And there you have it!! The quick and easy steps to hosting an amazing cookie exchange party! 😊 So whether you decide to throw one yourself, or you’re looking for a treat to bring to your next holiday party, or you simply want a treat for yourself, don’t forget to check out Cheryl’s.com to discover all these flavors and more!
